At the age of fourteen, I found Helmut Newtown’s book Sumo in an art store in NYC. It started a journey of creation and relationships I cherish to this day. Helmut taught me that photography can be mysterious, brave, and expressive.
Later, I studied the art of figure and film photography while working in a digital imaging lab near Philadelphia. I was getting two educations at once; one in film, and one in emerging digital technology. Today all of my digital work is still inspired by analog attributes.
In addition to photography, I own a media & advertising agency, I have a popular podcast called Too Much CGI, I’m a singer/songwriter and guitarist, and I work a little in show business. I have shot for brands like Calvin Klein, Playboy, and FHM. However, this website represents my personal artistic work.
